Red cabbage

White cabbage is the oldest cabbage species with worldwide distribution. Red cabbage, on the other hand, is considerably younger and less widespread Head-forming cabbages have been known in Europe since the 8th century. The number of varieties for different purposes is accordingly very high.

    Pointed cabbage with loose filling and little stalk. Tender leaves with a mild-sweet aroma and therefore good to use raw. After a cultivation period of 3 - 4 months the heads weighing approx. 1.5 kg can be harvested.
